JFC Emergency Water Tanks

Given the recent unprecedented weather conditions here in Ireland over the last number of months with extensive flooding and frost, curtailment on public water supply and shortages due to frozen pipes have never been as common. With temperatures reaching -16º in parts of the country during December & January, the integrity of existing water pipe work has been seriously compromised with severe ground frost causing leaks and leading to interrupted water supply. 

JFC Manufacturing in Galway with their portable “Aquacube” Emergency Water Tanks have been busy with a number of Councils nationally providing customized units from their stock on tanks at short notice. The Company has been supplying these units to Water Boards in the UK for the past number of years where they are widely used in emergency situations to provide water to the public in adverse weather conditions, during periods of drought, general maintenance and repair of water supplies.

instantaneous fitting for fast filling via a water hydrant.

Suitable for Potable and Non Potable water use, the JFC Aquacubes are approved under Regulation 31 of the Water Supply Regulations 2000 which implements Article 10 of the
Council of European Union Drinking Water (DWD) for use in public water supplies.
