JFC prides itself on producing quality products that are environmentally sustainable during both manufacture and end use”. This has led JFC to develop another new and exciting product range of composite decking material known as JFC Earth-wood.
As Anyone with decking in their garden knows only too well, maintaining wood in Ireland's damp climate requires effort, time and usually more than a little elbow grease. To counter these problems, JFC has developed a wood polymer entirely made from recycled materials.
"It is a closed loop”. All the materials we use are recycled and is in itself recyclable.
JFC are offering a complete range of decking products which are available in a smooth or slip resistant finish and in various lengths, widths, colours and thicknesses.
They have been tested and approved to BS & BS-EN standards for slip resistant properties, while our unique tongue and grooved cladding is the perfect replacement for cedar and larch. Earthwood is the perfect choice for decking, boardwalks, floating pontoons, jetties, bridges, ramps, balconies, garden and cladding applications. It is also ideally suitable for marinas and other wood installations exposed to water.
"It has its own natural colour from the wood, but the plastic gives it strength and stops it rotting. We guarantee the product for 10 years, but it will last a lifetime," says John Concannon, Managing Director, JFC.” JFC Earth-wood was the decking of choice at the Volvo Ocean Race Galway stopover.
JFC are a leading plastics manufacturer with 21 years experience and supply the following industry sectors: civils, construction, agriculture, recycling, marine, and materials handling. JFC’s Head Office is based in Tuam Co Galway, with three manufacturing plants in the UK, one in Poland and a sales and distribution centre in Holland.
