The HydroChamber stormwater management system is used in stormwater attenuation and soak away applications to provide an underground storage tank for stormwater runoff. It can be used under HGV trafficked areas and car park trafficked areas as well as non trafficked areas (e.g. green amenity areas).

The system’s advanced design offers excellent load bearing capacity with ease of installation and assuring peace of mind for Engineers, Architects, Local Authorities and Contractors. It is a cost effective underground modular chamber system which includes a unique maintenance and inspection facility that allows for excellent long term performance and sustainability.

The chambers are manufactured from high density polyethylene and are backfilled with 35/50mm clean washed crushed stone, the corrugated arch shape of the HydroChamber provides excellent structural strength as shown in independently witnessed field tests where the chambers were exposed to loads four times that expected in service. The JFC HydroChamber has been awarded WRc Certification.

The system can be used in one of three ways – A Permeable Attenuation System, An Impermeable Attenuation System or an Infiltration / Soakaway System depending on the drainage design. This offers the designer maximum flexibility to satisfy site conditions economically, environmentally, hydraulically and structurally.
